Types of Massage Therapy We Offered
At Bangkok Thai Spa, we incorporate Thai, Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage and also Yoga Stretches into one session. This ensures that you will get the benefit of all the massage types as describe individually below. A 90 minutes session is recommended to give the therapist time to work thoroughly on your body, we also have longer session if you prefer.
Thai Massage - A complete Thai massage incorporates a traditional combination of point pressure, energy meridian work, and yoga-like stretching for an invigorating and balancing experience. Swedish Massage - Swedish massage involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage. The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress, muscle tension and improved range of motion.
Deep Tissue – This type of massage targets tight muscles and gets to the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. It can release tension in the tissues, or have a psychological release. It will loosen bonds between the layers of connective tissues
